Stevie Renner started playing in rock groups in the late 60's. He first went on the road in 1976 playing night clubs, dance and concert halls all across the US. He toured the country settling in Minneapolis in 1980, and has been based here ever since. Back then we called it "Top 40" - basically current radio hits, and a backlog of older material. Today they call this a "cover band".
Stevie began writing his own songs, and formed his own rock group in the 90's. Originally called "Renner" playing Rock Clubs in Minneapolis and touring the Midwest. In 2002 he formed the "Rennegades" and in 2004 released his first album "Raining In My Heart" (available on Apple Music). Since then Stevie has been regarded as one of the Top Blues Rock Guitarists to come out of Minneapolis, a "hometown favorite".
Over the years Stevie has amassed a collection of over 100 prized guitars and amps. He has decided to share his love of guitars and open an exclusive "Members Only" pro shop here in Edina, MN called "Stevie's Guitars". Stevie will be sharing his love, knowledge, and passion for guitars with his friends and customers throughout the Twin Cities and around the world through the Guitars.net and his YouTube video channel.
We go far beyond an instrument showroom. We have pro luthiers in-house that professionally set up each instrument (up to Stevie's tough standards) so that we can guarantee the gear we sell. We also offer professional repair and setup work for instruments you already own.
